Bathtub Finish: This enamel-coated cast iron bathtub has been properly finished. This bathtub is built using the most durable materials making it impact-resistant. This bathtub has been fired at an extremely high temperature giving it a "fire polished" finish which easily takes on vivid colors and deep glosses. This high-end enamel finish is typically the most expensive, however it makes the bathtub’s surface resistant to acids, wear and provides superior protection against damage.
Bathtub Care: Cleaners containing silica or sand can be abrasive and should not be used. For general cleaning, use mild soap and water. For a more extensive cleaning to remove dirt, soap scum, ‘bathtub ring’ and or mineral deposits from the enamel surface, use a household cleansing paste. Apply this paste to the surface of the bathtub and let sit for a few minutes. Lightly scrub the bathtub surface with a soft cloth to remove any solid build-up. In all cleaning cases, make sure to rinse your bathtub thoroughly with water and dry the surface of the tub when you are finished.
