The Number One Item on my Wish List
When Christmas time or birthdays roll around, everyone start making out his or her wish lists. As kids, this list would be started months in advance, sometimes as soon as only a few days after the event itself in preparation for next year. We would write our notes to Santa Claus or make the list to read off to him when our mom took us to see him at the mall. Toys, board games, movies, and books soon fill up the page. We simply cannot wait to rip that wrapping paper off our presents come Christmas morning to see if the items we so desperately wanted actually came during the night. As adults, however, we no longer write out our wish lists or at least that is what we tell everyone. In truth, we do have one and we secretly hope our wives or children discover it so that we can get something better than a new tie this year.
That discovery has not happened in my household yet. I should really start "hiding" this list in a more obvious spot! While there are some outrageous items on there such as a red Ferrari and my own personal roller coaster, there are some reasonable ones as well. I would love an old-fashioned version of the Clue game and a new set of extra soft sheets. Is that so much too ask? However, I would feel silly actually requesting those things. The number one item on my wish list, however, is a whirlpool bathtub!
Have you seen the latest whirlpool bathtub designs? These tubs come in all shapes, sizes, and colors now! It is so easy to find one that works well with your bathroom's décor. The best part about these bathtubs, however, is that they give you the most amazing bath you will ever have. Several adjustable jets, comfortable padded headrests, and silent air controls... can you imagine? It would be a dream come true. I would allow everyone in the house to use it, but they would have to ask first. It would be own personal modern bathtub oasis in the bathroom!
I have even found a great website, simplybathtubs.com, that has amazing discounts on whirlpool bathtubs, clawfoot and antique bathtubs, and contemporary corner or walk in tubs. I think I might just go order one myself!
